Objective:
FUELING OUR COMMUNITY THROUGH COMPETITION
The Gallatin Valley Tournament Committee
brings more than just athletes to Bozeman and Belgrade—we bring economic vitality. By hosting premier high school state tournaments, we draw thousands of loyal fans who stay in our hotels, dine in our restaurants, and shop at our local businesses.
Beyond the Gate: How It Works
Tournaments are awarded through a competitive bidding process. Our committee goes head-to-head with cities across Montana to win the right to host these prestigious events.
However, there is a common misconception about the funding: The tournament committee does not receive any revenue from ticket sales. 100% of gate receipts are returned to the Montana High School Association (MHSA).
Why Your Sponsorship Matters:
Because we receive $0 from the gate, we rely entirely on local partners to cover the essential costs of hosting—including facility rentals, officials, security, and hospitality.
While the cost of putting on these events is significant, the economic return for our community is even greater. Your sponsorship isn’t just a donation; it is the strategic investment that ensures the Gallatin Valley continues to win these bids—and the millions in revenue they bring home.
