Dear Valued Members On behalf of the Bozeman Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and Chamber Staff, we hope this eNewsletter finds you and your families health well and your business making the best of an unforeseen and temporary setback.
Your Chamber Team has been working to create a valuable resource page to provide our members the access to the most current business loans, payroll protection and employee unemployment. We know these have been challenging times and would encourage you to reach out to us with questions or how we may be of assistance.
We would like to thank our State, Local and Federal Elected Officials for your willingness to continue to hold conference calls for further discussion to determine how best to position Bozeman and Gallatin County Businesses into the early stages of recovery.
We would also like to thank our Banking Senior Managers and Presidents for taking time last week to discuss the best way for our business community to move forward in applying for COVID-19 support. One assurance they want the business community to be aware of; now is the time to remain calm and to contact your current financial institution regarding options which will best serve your business needs. Prior to making the call please have your 2019 income and expense, balance sheet, and payroll expenses readily available.
We encourage all to shop local for all your business and personal needs. The Bozeman Chamber Restaurants, Caterers, Lodging, and Retail are updating us on a daily basis regarding hours of operation, delivery, pickup, online, etc. This information can be found on the COVID-19 Resource Page of the Chamber Website.
In the past week, we would also like to thank our community leaders, and especially our businesses for being resilient during this time.
As you can tell by the content of this eNewsletter, many of Your Chamber Events have been postponed until further notice.
Two events we do want to bring to your attention:

Business and Community Conversation
Topic: Parks & Trails Special District Creation
- An Updated electronic communication will be forthcoming regarding a detailed status of the Parks and Trails Bond.
- The City of Bozeman had requested the Parks & Trails Special District Creation be removed from the ballot and place all the education into working on the COVID Crisis. State Law prevented The City of Bozeman from removing this topic from the ballot.
- We want to thank City Leadership for understanding the costs associated with this would be an additional expense for businesses at this time.

Business and Community Conversation
Topic: Bozeman School District #7 Update
- An updated electronic communication will be forthcoming regarding a detailed status of the Bozeman School District #7 Update
- Bozeman School Board voted to cancel two (2) of the three (3) levies on the May 5, 2020 ballot.
- The one (1) remaining levy will actually have a zero (0) tax increase.
- We would like to thank the Bozeman School Board and Bozeman School Leadership for understanding the impact this would have had on businesses.

During trying times like this, we rely on the positive relationships we have built with The City, The School District and The County which allows us to navigate more smoothly through these economic times.
