The purpose of our tourism division is to enhance economic development of the community through the promotion of tourism, film production, and meetings.

Convention and Visitors Bureau Committee (CVB)

Objectives:

  • Coordinate and manage the distribution of tourism materials at the Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport & 19th Ave Rest Area.
  • Write and implement a joint tourism marketing plan.

Goals:

Promoting tourism as an economic and sustainable industry.

Objectives:

  • Attend 3 Tourism Advisory Council Meetings.
  • Attend Annual Governors' Conference on Tourism. 

Goals:

Strengthen Gallatin County’s economy through the promotion of the region as a vacation destination and meeting place and partnering with the State of Montana Tourism Office.



Tourism Business Improvement District Committee (TBID)

Objectives:

  • Begin renewal of TBID funding.
  • Design and implement a marketing plan which enhances current tourism marketing efforts.
  • Partner with State, Bozeman CVB & other entities to leverage marketing dollars.
  • Recruit new city-wide events.
  • Respond to city-wide RFP's.

Goals:

Enhance current tourism marketing efforts to attract new markets and continue to grow current markets.
