Mission: Promote agriculture in Gallatin County through recognition of farmers and ranchers, support of area students studying agriculture, legislative involvement and education.

Strategies:

• Organize and sponsor annual Agriculture Banquet.
• Coordinate Pitchfork Fondues.
• Work with the Gallatin County Fair to provide programs for small acreage owners.
• Raise scholarship funds for Gallatin County students studying agriculture at Montana State University.
• Continue to contribute to an endowment fund set up by the Agriculture Committee to provide future scholarships for Ag students.
• Coordinate student breakfasts for state FFA competition.
• Participate in Agriculture Appreciation Day at the State Legislature.
• Work together with the communities of Bozeman, Belgrade, Manhattan and Three Forks.
• Meets second Tuesday of each month at noon.
